Dysfunctional (We call it true love)

Consider the dysfunctional relationship beliefs your book discusses on pages 349-350.
Do you have any of these (or have you had any of these)?
Everything for me is a functional dysfunctional relationship. Disagreement is not distructive in and of it's self but mentally it taints people in my mind. I know people are capable of change but also relaize that many times that changes never comes.

If so, where do you believe those beliefs came from, i.e., family, friends, media? Be as specific in your analysis as possible.

My family has affected my beliefs, but not heavily. And ironically I watch alot of movies  but never conciously assessed any dysfunctional elemants so you would think that I get these perceptions sublimily.

Conformity Quiz

Take the conversation/conformity quiz on page 372.
Based on this, decide which of the family types (p. 372) your family most closely resembles.
    Pluralistic
While  my family definitely communicates extremely well but my father is more the type that believed his word was law when we were children but he was gone Monday thru Friday drving truck so my Mom was the one doing the majority of the decision making
.

Explain how well (or not) this works for your family and why.

I love being able the talk to my family  about  anything but the inconsistency from being raised with a weekend dad and a week mom made it kind of confusing at times
